Default new times with the sf3000 stall!

well its been about 2 weeks since i went to the track, but ive been really busy so i havent had time to post up much. well here it is with the temp being 88 degrees and humidity around 85%;

60ft 2.14
330ft 6.15
1/8 9.54
1/8mph 72.33
1/4 14.96
1/4mph 89.74

woo hoo!!! i finally made it in the 14s! my previous best was a 15.05, but that was before the shift kit, removal of all torque management, and the stall. the 15.05 was also in 50-55 degree weather. so im expecting a 14.4-14.5 in those kinda temps now. but i dont guess ill find out before i put the cam in! anyway what do you guys think?

I think the times are great! It was all in the 60' as your MPH is about what the RCSBs run stock. You're right where you should be

I am not sure I would get the hopes up for mid 14s without a cam though. I just don't see time drops of 4-5 10ths just due to temp unless you had a really crappy DA today and you get a really good one later. Temp only tells so much. I rarely see more than a 2-3 10th drop due to DA.

yeah and that was in 2wd. i didnt think it would hook in 2wd so i had been launching in 4hi all night and the best time i could get was 15.10. but i tried it in 2wd and ran a 14.97 and then backed it up with the 14.96. so i proved that running in 4wd and shifting out before the 1-2 shift still slows you down by at least a tenth of a second. but i cant hook for **** on the street so i guess ill just have to deal with that extra tenth!!!

Cool. I'm glad someone finally got some "data" for the 2wd vs 4wd thing. I mean we all know it sucks up HP and should slow you down but I never knew by how much.

My 4wd slows me down more than that. Good times btw. I'm ookin for the 14's now, but cant get traction for some reason and the best I can do in 4hi is 16.0x or 15.9? but I can't stall it up in 4hi enough to keep from bogging when I leave? Oh well. I may just skip the 14's and shoot for 13's Got a little more work planned for her tired ***.

in really bad heat and no traction, my 60 ft times were like 2.45-2.6 and i was trapping 93 mph at 15.0 stock stall, no headers in a 2wd truck. joshluther with a 3000 stall, and pacesetter headers was trapping 92 with i think in the area of a 2.1-2.2 60ft and his best run was 14.6 on a really really hot day. i think mid 14's without a cam is totally feasible on a good night, with a stall, in any reg cab configuration. I know we are hoping for low 14's no cam.

thats what i was figuring since they say that a stall is about a .4 gain in the quarter and a shift kit and all tm removed with a little better tune i should be somewhere in that range since i ran a 15 flat before all this work.
