Blow What I'm thinking is your leaking air at the TB this Happened to me at first before i got my New setup
Try reving the truck from under the hood and see what that intake tube looks like
That stock tube just aint made to make boost
What I'm figuring is that your Maff is seeing the extra air and then after it your loosing air after the maff try looking around and reving the motor some
I got away with 4 more Degree's of time all the way across should be in the high octane spark vs rpm and load
you Can get a real intake setup with a little work check out this http://www.ryansperformance.com/2003silverado.htm
I knew there are parts to do an intake setup just have to look

I know ATI says 500 crank hp is the limit of their intercooler. That tells me it would probably be a restriction at anything over 400.
Thanks gmcski for that link, I've always been very unhappy with the stock intake setup. Think I'll try something like that next since on my last 2 test runs, I've blown the tube off!
Maybe your right! The weakest link in the whole setup is after the maf. That would make sense.
Thanks again guys.

I'll be Building my intercooler in a few Days
now Should Flow a ton of air
See i knew it your leaking air For sure you saying you've blown the tube off that many times
Says leak for sure to me
Does ease have a Crank hp that the computer gives you ?I know you can see it in the tech 2
not sure about ease Did that number change after you put the smaller pulley on ?
Get the setup from the link that i sent you and get back to us for some real Numbers

Gonna order some silicone 90 deg tubes, and t-bolt clamps for the whole system, then maybe measure pressure drop across the intercooler. I can't even run it to full boost more than a couple times now without blowing that hose off.
Looks like I'll be down a few days.

How do you unload the transfer case so it will shift out?? Just because the light says 2wd does not mean its shifted out. For me it takes some light brake to unload the drivetrain, for it to shift.
If you shifts are unloading that much, theres more room for lower et's with a shift that keeps motor loaded. just a thought.
After reading this thread, sounded like slipping trans. It is time for a 4l80e??
