Default Nitrous with supercharger questions

Parish8 and anyone else running or has tried nitrous with supercharger, ive got a few questions. How much is too much, my mods are in my sig but ill list 2000 GMC Sierra reg cab 2wd, stock 5.3 with 115,000 miles, Whipple supercharger 6lbs of boost, hypertech, 3000 stall, eaton posi 4:10, slicks. Are there any special precautions to take, ive got a 55 gallon drum of VP 112 octane im assuming that will cover the chance for detonation. I dont have Autotap or LS1 Edit so i cant monitor it that way. I ran 12.90@105 a couple of weeks ago, and ive got a grudge race for a little money this sunday i dont need to run faster than i am but i want to embarass the guy im racing. I was thinking a 50 or 75 shot it will be wet, what do you guys think im open to suggestions. Also i can mount a custom fuel cell with fuel pump just for the nitrous if you guys think i need it. Thanks

i dont see a tranny on your list or a fuel pump or a fuel presure gauge.

with your current set up i MIGHT try a 35shot. forget about that 112, it will mess up your 02's and cats(if you have any). with just a 35shot and 6psi i think 92 octane would be fine.

seems to me 12.90's are pushing it prety hard with your current set up. is that tranny really stock?

Maybe a little smaller pulley for an extra pound of boost will do the trick too.

Its a stock GM replacement transmission i put it in about 40,000 miles ago its still got 10,000 on the warranty. Ive got stock fuel pump, no fuel pressure gauge, but i have a Holley electric fuel pump and fuel cell i can use to feed the nitrous. Im not too concerned with tearing it up, id rather not, but if it goes it goes, ive gotten my money's worth from it. I dont have cats but do have o2's what will it do to them, because i have run 100 octane alot in it. But if you guy's think 35 is max i will try it, thanks.

a 35 shot with a whipple doea ALOT and will most likely kill your tranny, it is fun though.

my best ET with the whipple was 12.77 at 8psi
same night add 50shot, 12.05
same night *** 75 shot, 11.92

you can see a 50shot took off quite abit of time.

I not a nitrous expert, but I am pretty sure that you are not supposed to spray it there...
