A/F ratio is important no matter what and when your stock you usually dont worry about it but n20 its nice to know and SC or TC its nice to know. I will get wideband when I do SC or TC. The reason Im keeping the o2 read A/F gauge(millivolts) is it is close enough to read a nasty lean condition but of course it doesnt compare to wideband but it will work for me for time being! The only time Im worried about Air /Fuel ratio mainly lean condition is when Im at WOT and spraying. The guys at Dynotune and some others Ive talked to will tell you at normal driving these gauges are whacked out completely off but at WOT they are fairly accurate. You better have somewhat new o2 sensors though!

You really need to comparea narrowband to a wideband and see for yourself. I like you guys thought that a simple Autometer A/F was sufficient.
Once I got a standalone ECU, and started doing my own tuning along with a Techedge WB kit, I could see how useless a narrowband setup was.
The money you were going to put towards an A/F gauge would be better spent towards an EGT gauge if you can't afford a true WB kit right now. If your EGT's are rapidly rising above 1550, back off. Simple as that. Good EGT kits react very quickly and within about 3 seconds you'll know if your lean or not with much mor eresolution then a 1V sensor ever can be.

When I got my gauges and n20 hooked up we put it on the wideband/dyno and my digital A/F gauge(millivolts) was not far off from the widebands readings at WOT. Anywhere else was ridiculous and thts obvious. Ill call my buddy at B&M and ask him how far off the numbers were. The C-mas tree gauges are really a waste but the Dynotune gauge which is the only one Ive used is actually useful for me. Ill post those differences here in a few when I get them!

Pics would be great!!!

Let's make it perfectly clear that it's supposed to be a 5V wideband or UEGO type A/F setup. 1V narrowband setups need not apply.
NOTE: No disrespect to your post KySilverado, just clarifying your post a bit.
