I was in the 410 rwhp range with stock 243 heads, that intake with TBSS injectors, 3k stall & 60e, 4:56 gears, LT, dual 3” exhaust and a Texas Speed 224/228 .581-.588 114 cam.
I daily drove that combo for about 5 years ( about 5k miles a year ). Never had any issues. Drove great, had good manners, only thing the gears were a bit much for some of the highway trips that were REALLY long. Other then
That no complaints

I talked to 2 separate people today over at Texas speed and came up with to different opinions, one recommendation was to go with the 228r 600/600 cam and the other was the torquer V2. Both said a 3200 stall would be recommended so I'm wondering what cam would be better for my build?

There's not a huge difference between them. I daily a 227/236 cam that has 11.5 overlap and it drives fine and has great manners.
The v2 cam will move your power band up in the rpms some. If you went that route, I'd have TSP grind it on a 110 lsa.
Just be realistic in how you intend on driving the truck and pick the cam based on that.

I got a few goodies for the build this week
243 heads from 2006 GTO 55k pull offs
Roadrunner converters 3600 stall
ARP head bolts early style
I also placed my order with TSP today, i went with the 233/239 .600 .600

I literally just got it tuned yesterday, made 377HP 349TQ. Check out my youtube video of the dyno pulls, search Trap Spot Customs. I had a bad O2 sensor and my rear brake caliper was sticking so i came home and fixed those issues.
