Buddies rcsb swapped 6.0 with 80 ran good till overheated tranny..been rebuilt new solonoids. Swapped two converters still won't do the 2-1 downshift.. Any ideas thanks guys

Did it ever downshift? After the 80 swap, I mean.

Went from v6 to 6.0 everything was fine oil pump went out and locked up put in 5.3 while getting rebuilt and hasn't downshifted since tranny got hot one day and burnt up seals and ****. Had it rebuilt with a few minor goodies and still no down shift switched back to stock converter and still no dienshift. So put in new 2-1 solonoid today and still nothing. Grounds are hooked up we checked

Did you plug in everything on the outside of the transmission?
