non coated headers in canadian winter?

Sorry I forgot, most of us have forgot about that little contraption also. We will say the front tires from the rear tires.

well i was pulling my trans tonight and saw that my coated pacesetters were rusting badly...kinda makes me mad i just put them on in october and they truck has been in a storage unit sence feb until now i figured it would have tooken a little longer to rust and we didnt even have that bad of a winter here in oklahoma this year

Well according to S/C Z71, ceramic coating is the only way to go and stainless is junk...I guess that brownish orangish stuff must be a protective rust layer lol. I suppose that the pics that were posted of rusted coated headers don't count either....

Well I agree he is a tool! If he does in fact have the "Copperhead" then it is because he bought it not built it so taking his advice on anything would be like putting on a nice suit after a long days work without a shower first.

Go stainless for abusive climates, us souther folks can run the coated.
