PAC 1218 for under .600" lift, and 1518 for under .650".

Comp put out I think two bad batches of 918s, one in the late 90s and one in the early 2000s. PAC used to make the 918 springs for Comp, but as soon as they switched manufacturers they had the issues with the two batches.

So take that for what it's worth, but setup is critical for valvespring life; install any spring incorrectly and you're looking for trouble.

ok, i got the springs I need, what do you think of that cam? Like i said the truck is daily driven but not much typically, and I do tow with it? Should I step down a bit?
Remember, i dont need to switch converters because the truck is a 5 speed manual.

True, but you forgot to mention that they did a total redesign on them and havent had issues since.

Ive installed them on at least 10 engines, including my own and havent had an issue. The new springs are silver, the old ones have a blue stripe.
