If it was me Id do 243s milled .03 and 224ish cam, depending on the final stall rpm you go with. Driveability will all be in the tune as tootall said. Or you could just leave the CR stock and throw a blower on top of it

Those of you who read that article, do you think this build will have comparable results with efi? Anything I should alter/add?
Use the L92s. 243 heads will flow 300+ only after a little over $1K. Even then the L92s out of the box flow 320cfm.

You will have great results, but keep in mind that these runs were on an engine dyno, and not with a engine/trans/drive train combo. So the numbers will be lower if you hit a dyno later on.

Everyone will say that there are better cams out there, than the Hot Cam. You can make more power bla lba l. . . bla bla . . . The more popular cams on this site are the 220's and the 224s. They're an all around "stock head" cam, for heads that have not had any work done to them.

Most performance cams for the L92s have more seperation to take advantage of the huge intake valves.

Can anyone help me withany other items I need to have to do a LQ4 block/L92 heads/LS3 intake/FBody Accessory engine? Are there any items I need to get besides these for that setup? Any particular computer to use? Just wondering if anyone has any info on this.

So, when I change heads and intake, will I still be able to use any harness and computer, or do I have to use LS3/L92 specific harness? How does that work? Also, (I know I know newbie questions!!) On a classic truck project like this is for, what sensors are neccesary and which are optional? Just trying to see what I need to be prepared for when I get this beast together. Thanks guys!! Most helpful!

Is there any difference in the lifter valley covers from one LS?LQ to another? And does anyone know of any issues I'm going to have putting this engine on an S10 frame? I have decided (barring a good deal on used F-Body accessories) to buy the accessory drive for LS3 corvettes at Pace Performance ($770.... best NEW deal I found... anyone have any other ideas please feel free to let me know). So that is the setup LQ4 with corvette acc. drive. Anyone know of any problems I'll be looking at on an S10 frame?
