I figured out what i did wrong; I put the damn o ring in the pump and then stuck the tube in the pump rather than putting the o ring on the tube itself. I would recommend dropping the fuggin oil pan (completely) for anybody that hasnt done it just for safe measure to avoid the situation that i went through. I took off the pickup tube and first got the o ring adjusted, actually threading the bolt in with my hand and fine tightening with a socket, then adding the nuts to the studs on the bottom of the windage tray. Everything is good to go now and its Penut Butter Jelly Time!!!!!
Good deal. I seem to remember someone saying to put it on the pickup tube then put it in the pump.

I bet it is all worth it though and you will really be happy once Allen gets ahold of it.

He knows about the tranny but the verter is gonna be a surprise!!!!! haha. He doesnt drive my truck so i doubt he will notice it any time soon. **Knocks on wood** Im really not concerned about it. Im more concerned about him finding out about my gears.

And yes Colby, i put the o ring in the damn pump rather than it being in the tube which i should have done in the first place!
