Cool

You either have to buy O2 similators to replace the rear O2 sensors or get your tune modified to turn off the codes and SES light.

i know i have to get a tune to turn them off.......i just look under the truck and it looks like there is a plug that you can unclip and then you need to just cover up the plug hole...like cap the connection.

you could get the O2 sensors for the larger small blocks that come with the stock dual cat system. They have longer wires on them. Or you could just extend the wires. I am going to run into the same problem when my new engine is installed with long tubes and I have to redo the entire exhaust system.

the reason i didnt just disconnect them because then the elec, connector would get all nasty and if you ever wanted to install the o2's again then you'd be screwed. if the sensors can be exposed to 1000+*f temps then they can sit in the frame rail. if it gets wet then o well. if they end up not working, replace them. but no need to mess with stuff that can just sit there

I uncliped mine. Including the plug, they're about 10" long. I didn't seee the use in keeping them tied up in the framerails when I know that I'm never going to need them again.
