Default O2 sensors. Heated/Planar

anyone know the difference? I think the reason I'm throwing codes is that I'm using Planar O2 sensors(canadian model) when my truck was wired for the heated sensors(u.s. or mexico model)

The way the heater is incorporated is different between the two...the planar sensor has the heater incorporated within the ceramic structure, which is also smaller...not sure, but if it's also referred to as an A/F sensor, then it also works on a different voltage scale.
