yeah about 2 inches lower than the tranny x-member

once i get mine installed saturday, i will get pics.

thanks, they look great.


how bad did they blue/discolor once they are installed?

My y-pipe doesn't hang much lower than the crossmember on a 4x4

thanks for the pics. they don't look to bad after a few months. i know i am gonna end up crushing my Y pipe, if that is how low it hangs lol.

mine arrived today. will be on tomorrow

I want to get rid of mine, they made no diffrence but just making annoying noises up front and also ratteling on the frame.

they are on, mostly

Pile of stock ****, saw zalled what i could off. save alot of time on rusted bolts lol


Alternative dipstick removal method. it was rusted into the block, so i broke it taking it out. used a slide hammer to remove the piece in the block.



no more stock manifolds



the rear two manifold bolts were broken off. used some PB blaster, and vise grips to remove. they wre a real PITA to get out.

new headers in the process of going on. slipped in teh the bottom pretty easily, didn't even have to take the plugs out lol.



very close to the frond D-shaft. i may end up having to put a small dent in the header to make it clear.



Y pipe hangs a little low for my taste as well. but i don't wheel it enough to worry about i guess since i got the jeep now



it is all on, but can't fire it up till monday. no stealerships are open for me to get a dipstick from. all there is left to do in bolt teh Y to the stock piping, put my new plug wires on, and put the dipstick in. then i can fire her up monday!

I broke my dipstick too. But I still put it back on without it bolted to the heads.

yeah, i actually broke the tube just below the manifold. if all i had broke was teh bracket i would have just done that, but since the tube broke about half way down i can't do anything till monday. good thing is, i can actually see teh whole for the stick with the headers now, unlike the manifolds lol.
