Didnt OBX make stainless steel shorty headers for trucks? These look like a steal considering what you are getting.

Since they're not coated, they will radiate more heat, but from my experience with my StainlessWorks headers, the underhood temps do not feel excessive to me when I work on my truck or pop my hood after a good ride, although it definitely is warmer than when I had the cast iron manifolds with heat shields. I should check it one day when the weather's warmer (I have an infared thermometer).

OBX has been around for a while and is notorious for doing just as someone else stated. They take previously proven products and make cheap foreign knock-offs that actually aren't half bad in most cases although they really lack the actual development the is utilized by the original companies. I'm sure its only a matter of time until they screw up with a knock-off an infringe on some sort of patent or copyright, more than likely thats why all their knock-off products seem to vary slightly from the original, like the Dynatechs.

they're still a good deal for what they are. I dunno about the grade of stainless since it's apparently imported from china. We never use/weld any stainless or carbon steel that comes from china for the sole reason that the alloys are contaminated. someone on here be the guinea pig and try em out. that hump design primary on the driver side is ugly as **** though.
