Default OBX LT's vs Pacesetter LT's

I've read alot of feedback on the pacesetters, but I can't find anything on the obx's.

Anyone have any experiences with obx? The only obvious differences between the two are that obx have welded flanges at the collectors, which is a plus because I've heard horror stories about pacesetters being notorious for leaking.

Also, currently I am running shorty headers and am curious to the gains with LT's. I'm aware that supporting mods help and I have a few and will need returned.

Any comments?

I have the OBX headers, and love them. A lot of people have fitting issues, but I had none, but I put mine in withe the new engine. I don't know if that had anything to do with it, but thats what I think. No leaks, but I haven't heard that about the pacesetters. Nice ORY and band clamps came with em, I liked that.

One problem is the weird hump on the drivers side, it made a couple plug wires melt until I wrapped it with header wrap, and put insulator socks on the wires.
The good part is I know mine won't rust in Ohio winters, and besides the blue/orange coloring they still look like when I put them on.

Good stuff. Thanks for the comments. Now that you've mentioned it I have heard fitment issues with obx, but only on 4wd. So I'm safe. The discoloring isn't really an issue, but the melting wires definitely is something to think about. If wire jackets is the fix then thats not a prob though.

Another question I forgot to mention...on the ORY are those resonators or cats? I highly doubt they are cats but that would be awesome. CA emissions suck.

The obx are just resonators and won't pass smog.

I have OBX LTs and I really liked the way they went on...I have a 4x4 and I didnt have problems with fitment at all...once they were in she was good to go...I know my LTs have two pipes rather than having a y so for me running true duals it worked out perfect...

+1 on the plug wires...melted thro one already but then I got another set that was longer so I was able to zip tie it away and I always keep spares but since the longer one I havnt had any issues...plus u dont have to worry about rust!!!

Do the obx headers re-use the stock o2 locations?
