Default OEM F-Body differential question!

SLP has OEM Zexel-Torsen diffs out of Camaros/Firebirds for sale on thier site. Will that diff work in my 99 Silverado or does the f-body diff take different spline axles? The part description says: It's an O.E.M. Zexel-Torsen 7.5" & 7.625" differential found in most 1998-2002 Camaros & Firebirds (with 28 spline axles). It will also fit 1982-1997 Camaros & Firebirds (1982-88 requires changing to 28 spline axles). Anybody know if this might work or do I have to go wit a new Eaton posi?

We have an 8.5 / 8.625 diff I think. Not sure if it will work.

I don't think that will work. We have the bigger 8.5/8.625" diff. like BigTex said. Also, I'm pretty sure the trucks have 30 spline axles.

Thats kind of what I figured. So what is the best route for me? All I want is a LSD setup or a posi but dont know where to look for one.

I plan on getting an Eaton pretty soon, from what I have read they are the best out there. Plus, they are rebuilable if anything happens.

I think http://www.tomsdifferentials.com/ has some really good prices on them. I remember a couple people going through them, so you might want to check them out.
