Default Off road Y pipe

I got tired of waiting for someone to make an off road pipe y pipe.
One that would work with OE manifolds or shorties.
I know alot of you are running long tubes.

So I contacted a friend who works for several racing teams here local.
I has someone that will build me a y pipe.
I have seen several guys here cut the factory y and splice in tubing
but I also want to get rid of the smashed portion at the bottom of the Y.
I should get a number within a day and find out pricing.
I prob will give him a used y pipe to mock up from.
Would anyone else be interested if would want to do a GP or some type
of run.....
Just seeing if there is any interest.
Any feedback ?
Chris

GM shows a export pipe without cats for 99-02. Part #15045260 I thought about buying it but going to wait and buy LT headers.

Magnaflow will have high flow cats and a really nice y-pipe setup coming out in a couple months. They used my truck to test fit the system and the ypipe looked really nice. It was fully rounded and not D shaped like the stock ypipe. Plus the crossover pipe was mandrel bent and looked like a real nice improvement over stock....

I hope to get the setup when it comes out

Trust me they took care of me... I was driving a rental car and when I got back I had a nice stainless steel catback on my truck for my troubles ... not bad if you ask me

I had my choice... either the 3-400 dollar cats and ypipe setup, then having my flowmaster catback that I had, or the 7-800 dollar magna catback...

What would you have done?
