Official Exhaust Pic Thread
As mentioned in another thread, I thought it might be a good idea to start a thread with all the pics of the various exhaust setups, custom or off the shelf that everyone has. If the mods wanted to make it a sticky, that would be cool, but if not, it would at least be easily reachable through a search.
I'll go ahead and start, even yough mine is probably the most simple.
The question has been asked many times, but I've never seen pics of a direct replacement muffler put in place of the stocker using the stock pipes. I used the Magnaflow 14589 5x11 oval 3" center/offset. As you can see, the welder made up the gap between the 3" inlet/outlet and the 2.75" tailpipes with no problem. He was even able to retain the stock hangars without adding any additional pipe. for $150 total installed, I'd say definitely take your muffler of choice and do this as opposed to a full catback.
It sounds just like I wanted, near to stock when cruising, with a nice bark at higher rpm's, no drone at all.

Here's one with 3" pipe and some mandrel bends going into a square tip, personally I think it sounds great mild sound while crusing and it comes alive when you step on it, minimal interior drone. It sounds better than the old flowmaster 50 series that was on it, but that was just tempoary.

I'm used to the obs truck exhaust. I was wondering about the truck that i have. I got under it this past weekend to change the oil and forgot to check how many O2 sensors that it had. It is a 2000 chevy silverado 5.3. I want to run the pacesetter LT headers with their offroad y pipe, but I was wondering if the stock exhaust setup has o2 sensors in the stock cats? Any info would be appreciated, since its been too cold here to get out and check under the truck for myself.
