that sounds right on the frame mounts & fuel lines.

i'm not 100% sure on making the 05 harness work in a 2000 because most folks advise just finding an older harness (and v8 cable throttle body [the v6 cable will work with it]... or pull from one of the few 99-02 with a DBW setup [i think some of the SUVs with stabilitrac]). whichever harness you run will need the matching PCM.
if it comes down to it, Current Performance did my harness work (from an 01 auto into a 99 stick) & did a good job. they ended up taking a while but made up for it. sorry i wasn't much help there.

just remember the fuse block needs the jumper wire for the clutch position switch or the starter won't get juice... can't remember the pin numbers of the black block, but it's in my build thread. not sure if the whole fuse blocks themselves can swap...

The Express Vans engine harness will work perfect with that setup as both are DBC and the 4L80 transmission connectors are on that van harness.

Okay, so then will a 99-02 wiring harness work with the 05 engine? Will I need an intoaje or just the throttle body?

I have a quick question for clarification, I have a 2000 2wd v6, from my understanding the passenger mount will work fine. The driver side I’m looking at buying 15113848 correct? This is the mount for a 2wd frame. I’m only confused because the engine is coming out of a 4x4 pickup, so I’m assuming the engine mount is the same and I just need the 2wd frame side mount?

Would it plug right into my v6 pcm or would I have to repin some things? I'm open to grabbing a standalone or grabbing the v8 pcm. Thanks just starting to learn about the wiring side.
thanks

Yes it will plug right into the 2005 V6 PCM if it's not the "black box" PCM. If I remember correctly only the 99-00 V6's were black box PCM's. You'll need a V8 base tune file installed as it will not run on the V6 tune. If the engine is not heavily modified a mail order tune would get you up and going. Richard (Atomic) a sponsor here can probably fix you up with any level of tune you need.

That's the 1 megabyte P59 PCM and will work with your trucks v8 swap and also with the Express van's engine harness. It needs to be flashed to a V8 tune. I have read that if the operating systems (v6 to v8) match it still takes 4 credits ($50 each). If you can get your hands on that vans V8 PCM it may be cheaper and easier. The Dealership may be able to flash the V6's PCM to a V8. Someone with more knowledge with segment swaps could tell you more. HP Tuners forum would be the best place to ask.
