give it a try, put the phone on speakerphone and have the other person put the remote by the other phone

Yea I would have driven it not shut it off.

When I dropped my truck off to get the windows tinted the tint guy managed to run it long enough to overheat it with the fans off and it was fine.

well i don't even know if i could have driven the thing. it was in reduced power mode. can you even drive in that? even if you can, i dunno if it would let me get going fast enough to get some air moving over the engine.

Damn Kev, that is some bad luck. But I remember when the NBS trucks came out that one of the features that GM incorporated was the REP mode where it can run air cooled for a period of time without causing damage.

if it starts and runs run it. if anything happened it will have blown a head gasket first normally.

best way to tell is to haul *** around the block and come back, if it didn't blow up you're good

, Now that is some serious ****. I actually tried that once. Just for a little more helpful info, (not to say that this happened to me), but if you do try this, make sure that you are heading toward your house and you can just coast in. Don't do it as soon as you leave the house.
