OK i did this exact sytle one.
Ok i cant get the one i got to quit making noise... hissing..
I'm using the Air/wAter Seperater for now..
Have the hose running from the back of the motor into it with the arrow pointed towards the intake..
Everything is tight..Trust me..

I think the noise has to do with combining the AMW catch can with the new style fixed orifice PCV...it works, but it whistles. Don't think it's a problem, more of a characteristic. When I switched back to the original style spring and plunger PCV, my whistle noise went away. I drain the AMW every oil change, and mid-way between, and I often check the vacuum line from the can to the intake, and so far the line has been dry, so this is the setup I've been using since it's both quiet and works for me.
I tried the homemade setup with the fixed orifice PCV, and unfortunately for me, it was not effective. The reservoir filled up to about a tablespoon or so, then that was it. When I pulled the hose from the seperator to the intake, it was saturated with oil. I guess not all engines will react the same way...different brand oils may have something to do with it also?? (I use Mobil1 10w-30)
