Oil Catch Can Noise?

Yea i know a guy with a SS thats been using this for over a year the exact setup i did.....

Did you notice the fixed style being louder than the stock type one without the catch can?

I hooked it up all stock today and seemed to be just as loud, i guess i didnt notice it before...

Check for leaks with carb cleaner, NOT A LEAK.

I never noticed any noise from it w/o the catch can, but I don't think I really ever listened that closely.

Idle fine YES
Oil pressure good?
Check engine light NO.
Leaks NO!..

After like 20 miles i took it out and looked, small coating of oil around the casing..

just think about how much was going into your intake before you installed the catch can...

But do you think anything could be wrong after all the **** i did and after finding no leaks?

I doubt it, it's probably "normal". For poops and giggles, you could try installing 99 style pcv and see if the noise changes. You can probably pick one up for less than 3 bucks.

The old style PCV valve is part# 25179136, the fixed orifice is part# 12572717, if you decide to give it a shot.
