Default oil leak- HELP

just had intake gasket set replaced on 91 Burb 350 to fix oil leak. had the truck backed down a good incline for the last day or so, pulled it up almost level- so I could change the oil, and oil started pouring out of a hole in the bottom of the bellhousing after I shut the truck off. it stopped after a couple of minutes, and I see that there are several 'dimples' in the bellhousing that appear to be cast into it- just wondering if there is supposed to be a hole, or one of these dimples punched out, or if one just blew out? where would all that oil be coming from? main seal leak? if it isn't supposed to be there, i was gonna JB Weld it up. any ideas?????

Did you do the intake gasket or someone else? Did you or did they remove the oil before starting the engine up after replacing the intake??? Assuming it was done all proper like, was the suburban level when putting in new fluid???

Now as far as the hole in the bottom of the bellhousing are you reffering to the cover??? If you have an Oil leak that is inside of the bell housing area then you have either pushed the cam seal or an oil galley plug out.

Now are you 100 percent sure it was oil and not tranny fluid??? When tranny fluid is burnt or all used up it appears brownish almost like oil. I would think It,s more likely that the pump shaft to tourque converter seal is woren out. People do not service there Transmissions as offten as they should.
