Default Oil life monitor reset?(D-max)

My dad was wondering if there is a way to reset the oil life monitor back to 100% without having to take the truck to the dealer like the manual says. The oil change light is easy to reset with the 3 stomps on the gas pedal with the key in the on position. Anything like that to reset the oil life monitor?

Thanks

Use the button on the steering wheel to cycle through the different info on the display, when you get to oil, press and hold the right hand lower button on the steering wheel and it should reset.

I think thats right if i can remember right.

2004 LLY, The truck is an LT. Thanks for the help. My truck doesn't have all the fancy buttons in it so I don't know.

That makes sense. I've driven his truck some but, never really messed with all that stuff, too busy smoking people.

Alright If His Is An LT And Its Equipped With The buttons On The Steering Wheel. but If It Does This Is How He Reset It: Turn The Key To ACC, Then There Should Be A Button On The Steering Wheel On The Bottom Right Fork That Has A Little Highway On It. Push It Until It Says Oil Life Then It Should Have The % Well On The Left Fork Of The Seering Wheel It WIll Have A Little Button That Has An Aarow Pointing Back, Push It And Hold It Until It Says Oil Life Reset 100% Then Turn The Key Off Then Back On And It Should Repeat On The DIC Oil Life Reset. Then Your Done.
