oil pan fitment w/ main studs

am i doing something wrong or is there some sort of top secret trick to get the oil pan to work properly with ARP main studs..? mine wont sit flat on the block and i cant tell what its hitting..

alright, well i figured out where it was hitting (i think i have an f-body windage tray) but now ive found out the crank and rod bolts are hitting the windage tray...? do i just space it up a bit or do i need to get a different tray?
