Default oil pan question

do they make a lower profile oil pan for these trucks or will a camaro oil pan fit??

I would imagine a F-body pan would fit, I don't see any fit issues since the sump is shorter than the stocker. A vette pan may even fit, it has side kickouts and is even shallower- the bolt pattern should be the same for all LSx engines on the pan.

thats what i was thinking. the reason way is because a friend of mine has a truck with air bags and he was scraping the ground the other day and busted his oil pan

I've got an Fbody LS1 pan on mine right now. We had to hack the windage tray a bit but it fits up fine.

Just make sure you have enough clearance for the oil pick-up.
