Default oil question...

I have been running Castrol GTX in my motor. Is a move to synthetic a good idea? Is synthetic/synthetic blend truly better then regular motor oil? Just getting you guys' opinion.

Synthetic oil gives me the piece of mind when i am hard on my engine i know i have the best lubrication possible. Honestly if you live in a moderate climate and use a quality dino oil, and change it every 3000 miles, you'll be more than fine.

Hi
"Is synthetic/synthetic blend truly better then regular motor oil?"

Yes, in every conceivable way!

Why skip on engine oil when you allready are investing money and time in your truck?
Change the oil according to the oil life system, don’t waste money by replacing the oil to often.
