Do you have any change in oil pressure between the K&N and M1 oil filters? M1 are very restrictive and K&N flows much better.

What was your oil pressure at idle befor the K&N? What is it now? I was thinking of usng a K&N but my oil pressure is a little low at idle already, it is 35psi hot idle.

10w-30 mobil 1 and mobil 1 filter or k&n filter.

I live in Los Angeles Cali. and it gets well over 100 degrees where I live too.

For the past 10 years I have ALWAYS run mobil 10W30 and either K&N or Mobil 1 filters in ALL of my cars (93 Turbo race Civic, 97 Prelude, 93 Ranger V6, 03 GMC 5.3L). Never had ANY problems or complaints.
