Default Is this an ok Nitrous Kit?

I have heard that a dry shot is safer on a motor with high miles. Is that true? Is this kit worth a damn? Seems too cheap to be any good.

i removed the link out of respect for our sponsors to the right------>

I would suggest you give them a call in the morning, http://www.nitrousoutlet.com/index.asp was very helpful for me.

It looks like you have the same basic setup as me. Have you ran the 1/4 yet, or had it dynoed?

Wow, that's good hp. With heads im hoping to be somewhere between 220-230. With spray right about where you are on a 50 shot. What shot are you running and how many miles does your engine have?

engine has 37,000 miles, and a 100 shot dry... its only getting 75 + - to the wheels though.

what did you mean by 220-230? thats about stock rwhp for a 4.8..

I meant 320-330. It's only puttin 75 to the wheels on a 100 shot?? That's wierd I thought that it was usually right on. I got 86k on mine with a bit of steeper cam going in within the next week, so idk about 100 shot, I can't afford to blow the engine. How are those 3.23s?? I am keeping the stock 3.42s and some people are telling me to upgrade to 3.73, I don't think I will notice a big enough difference to pay the money, it's like $500 w/ install.

my gears suck! i just got my 4.11's and eaton LSD in the mail, so its gonna get way faster! usually the wet kits are right on at the wheels, but dry doesnt get all the power, its rated at the jet, then it has to go through the intake tube, past the MAF, etc...

i wouldnt upgrade from 3.42's unless you are going to 4.11 or lower, 3.73 wouldnt be very noticeable for that amount of money. i spent around 750 on the LSD, gears, and install kit.
