is it ok to reuse mls manifold gaskets if they are separated
In the process of installing my headers, as I took the stock manifolds off I realized the OEM MLS gaskets were in 2 pieces. The driver and passenger side are the same. It looks like that came apart at a couple little spot welds. Looks like as long as I line them up they will still hold up. I'm sure they are still better than what came with the headers.

Do what joey said, it's been done, but I just don't see the need to be that cheap. Not on that amount of money. Many people will tell you they reused them, and had no issues.

Its not expensive. Maybe I've just thrown too much money away at the suggestion of other people. Having monkeys rebuild your transmission a dozen times when they say YOU HAVE TO USE ALL THESE BRAND NEW PARTS and then they **** up something else and waste the money you spent on all the bullshit at their request... Its just not cost effective.
