yeah, just turn the crankshaft bolt clockwise and it will "turn the motor over" moving the pistons up and down, rotating the cam and crank...etc..

then retorque the rocker bolts... ca't remember if its 22 or 24 ft lbs.. i think either is fine... its probably 22 ft lbs..

Were they stock rockers? I had the same problem when I installed adjustable shaft rockers and overtightened them.

Talking Thanks Guys!!!

I didnt replace anything i wanted to inspect the rockers and the pushrods
upon inspection i removed each pushrod and labeled them so they could
go back to there corrasponding cylinders i only loosen the rocker nuts
enough to get the pushrods out i never removed the rockers or the pedestals
i just wanted to see if anything was broken or bent trying to find my misfire
i have my snap-on leak down tester now so in the morning i will try to find the bad cylinder/valve etc...

i posted this a while back.
you can have all of the rockers torqued and still have some loose.
that occurs when the lifter is resting on the back side of the lobe on the cam. there is no pressure on the pushrod or rocker arm (valve closed).
