I have the oldman cam in my truck feels pretty good. you will gain more since you have long tube headers.

thanks alot for that explination 12secSS... makes sense to me... guess ill look at some of the vinci hi perf cams that have less duration than the TSPs...

very small but you can tell it isnt stock, you will have go up in rpm i think all i added was 100rpm to idle.

but you noticed a nice increase.. whats all other stuff did you get to go along with it??? what springs and etc?

I'm using the TR push rods and crane dual valve springs. With the lift on the cam you will pick up quit a bit of valvetrain noise. TR said the cam would work on stock tune so I tried it with a superchips tuner and ran ok but when i got the tune it felt a lot better. I also have shorty headers so not getting all the torque.

what about a LS1 hot cam??? This cam kit comes with everything you need. I think it is a 119 with a 525 lift, and it comes with LS6 valve springs. its only 425.00 dollars, i dont no anything about it but it looks like a good cam

hot cam won't be good to tune. Go with something like a 212/220 or 220/220, or at max, 224/224. Unless you're goign with a larger-than-stock stall (2800+), don't go over 224.
