Hopefully it will be worth it. They ran me 155.00 shipped. My plan is to install these and a tranny cooler as I won't be putting in a shift kit for a while. I am going with an Edge performance 3200 stall convertor 9.5" with 2.40 STR. I was also wondering what tranny cooler you guys recommend?
I was thinking of getting the Hayes #1405 trans saver .

 

What is the stock size of the factory tranny cooler? I like these but their a little pricy (with fan) tranny coolier

 

I don't exactly know the measurments but it looks pretty small and is pretty wimpy from what people say in this forum. I opened one up at work and it looks small. The nice thing is that it comes with all the factory lines and stuff that you need to hook it up. The cooler can be purchased as an accessory for your silverado through chevy.

 

I thought I posted this earlier but...those Edge Perf converters look really nice. I spoke with Andre about their features and they have: All furnace brazed impeller and turbine, heat treated drive hub and spline insert, anti balloon measure, and hardened race.

Not a bad converter at all, an excellent piece and prices that are good. $500 or so.

The stock cooler is appx 5" x 10" x 1/2" (rough guess) It is tiny. I used a 3/4" x 7-1/2" x 15-1/2" on my '99 Z71. Just go with anything over 18000lbs GVW.

I will hitman. I will also post times as I will go to the track the weekend after the install. The ls1 convertors are still not out yet. Andre told me that they are coming out in about 3 weeks.
So it will be a little while until I get mine.
