hink,

im a lil confused on what you mean by throttle response. are you saying you'll have more throttle response with a 113lda compared to a 115?

with the 115 i will have more low-end torque, less overlap than the 113. the cam will keep cylinder pressure up and higher idle vacuum and will respond better to throttle input, and less than perfect combination, with the 113 the idle vacuum will be lower, cylinder pressure will be lower from more overlap. and it will feel alittle more sluggish,at lower rpm. i guess advancing it will allow it to maintain higher lower rpm cylinder pressures to creat alot of torque. i think the difference in the 113 to 115 isnt that much though

sounds good. i was confused on if you were advancing or retarding.

Springs, who needs springs. I'm on week 6 with my stock springs and .560 lift.
Not so much as a hickup at 6500rpms.

I was very close to going with the 044 grind - 210/218 .530/.530 on a 114... But I mentioned the 047 and it seemed after a little bit of thought, Roger switched gears from the truck cams to the 047 car grind. He seemed to like that idea.

He said I should see gains from idle on up in my 6.0 with either cam. With the 112, it will be a slighty softer throttle responce down low (compared directly to the same cam on a 114), but will have a more pronounced torque curve. It will have more of a kick around 3,500.

We hashed out that basically comparing the 'Kicker to the cam I've got now is still supposed to be a huge difference down low. Small drag cam vs a true street cam.

After my '220 112 "woke up" within the last day or two, I would not hesitate to worry about the 113 lsa on that cam.

I don't know if it was something internal like a fouled plug, or if my computer needed time to sort out fuel trims, but ALL of my driving out of PE-mode is much better now. If the cam drove like this sooner I would have been happy as a clam.

My 'kicker got delayed by UPS. I won't be able to install it for another week or two. (Yes, I'll still be running it!) I want to give it a whirl.

What are you going to be doing with your tr220 cam? I'm curious to see what the differences are between the two cams especially on a 6.0. I'm glad to hear that your truck "woke up" b/c I was really disappointed on the first results. Good luck with your new cam.
