I've got an Outlaw on the truck as of Friday night. Looks and sounds great! More importantly, it really brought my tune to life.

Do intake, exhaust, and an economy tune for mpgs, and keep your foot out of it. And stick with stock donuts.

If you are after a deep sound, go for the Hooker Aerochamber. They flow good, cheap, and have a deeper sound than most.

Corsa sport on a 2003 Silverado SS 6.0L - Mods at time of film = Outlaw CAI, Pace setter headers, high flow cats, tune. I think it sounds pretty dam good if you ask me. Alwasy get compliments and at WOT, it IS like having straight pipes as the corsa muffler is straight through design. Worth every penny in my book...

Pace setter does not make a bolt in off road pipe or cat system for the 6.0L motors. They only make a bolt in offroad pipe for 5.3L. You could have the y pipe cut and weld in cats if you wanted. In my setup, I had custom pipes ran from the header collectors through cats and then bolted to the stock exhaust location...cost me $400 to have the headers installed and all of the bending/welding done...

no the older ones were just like the k & n type were you are supposed to periodically clean and re-oil them. the newest version is a dry non oiling type filter.

Not sure which type I have then. I bought it last year used with 500 miles on it...I've racked up alot of miles...I pulled it about a month ago and it still looked spotless clean...
