P&P'd heads goin in tomorrow
I port matched and polished some spare 5.3 heads I had, and I'm goint to put them on tomorrow with my new 918s from comp cams.
Anyone have any suggestions or corners I can cut to help with the install.
I've done plenty of head jobs but never one on my truck.

I got them on and everything runs good. I wasn't even thinking how big a pain in the butt the longtubes were going to be, and how much they were in the way throught-out the whole job.
I think I got some anti-freeze on my alternator becuz its raising hell squekking now.

It was a lot of work because of my longtubes and everything but it definetly runs stronger and I know its flowing better beacuse the old heads were covered with that black sticky crap.
I'm going to clean out my old heads real good and then try to sell them to someone else and let them do it to theres. I had maybe a total of $400 in everything. thats heads, and all new gaskets, and the P&P kit i bought.
