I finished the headers and got them tight. I do have the y on yet. Going to do that tomorrow after work with my dad's help. I was having trouble getting the Y to line up and get a good seal but I think it has to do with the rear flange not being lined up correctly. Not a hard install but a PITA for sure.

ALSO, my dad accidently dropped a header bolt and we could not find it so do the dealerships carry these or would I have to order one?

only problems I had with my install, breaking the bolts lose from the collectors on the manifolds. finally took a 12" extension and used about a 3 foot cheater pipe. right about as the last bolt was breaking loose I stripped my socket never knew 6 bolts could be so much trouble. I had silicone spray, some other kinda catalyst, and wd 40 for good measure....

You don't HAVE to take it off but it does help out quite a bit if you can get a jackstand under the tranny. The stock metal gaskets will work better, if yours are worn get a new set of them. If they are still fine throw em on. On the driver's side it helps to take out the bolt on the steering shaft and drop it down a little but be careful not to turn it while its not connected or you might have some problems. Also be sure to tighten the header bolts from the inside out like head bolts (left-right-left-right). This will help them seal better. Its best to run it for a little and let it cool down again then retighten the bolts to make sure they seal right. It may take 2 or 3 times of tightening to get them right. Other than that you should be ok.

Use the factory metal type gaskets or get new factory gaskets...

Anyone know if the Pacesetter LT's will fit with a 4/6 drop?
