Pacesetter Question-again
#12
I think your gonna be okay. I started that thread recently about my pacesetters not fitting on my 2500 LD 2wd with the 6.0L. I am almost positive your are not going to run into the problems I did. The only reason I had so much trouble is b/c I have huge mounts that stick off the frame for my coil spring suspension. You have torsion bars on your truck. The place your going to run into trouble is the piping after the headers. From the pic it looks like your truck is 4wd, and with the 4L80E, the transfer case, and the front driveshaft, its hard to snake the piping under there. A good exhaust shop can figure it out for you once you get the headers on. Here is a link to a guy on here who put the pacesetter LT's on his 1500 HD. Similar fitment because it has the 6.0 and 4L80 and 4wd just like your truck. It will probably be easier for your if you skip the Y pipe. Your best bet is to search around and see if anybody with a 2500HD with the 6.0 has these headers and if they fit or not. I am pretty sure I have seen a number of guys either on here or on Fullsizechevy.com that are using these headers. Here is that link: https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...d.php?t=385130
BTW on the last pic in that link where you see the header going down the side of the tranny, it looks like the header might rub the edge of the tranny. Its okay to cut that lip off about 3/4 of an inch for more clearance. Its just extra casting and will not hurt anything. I did the same thing just to help get the header in on my truck.
