except mine will actually net some gains. You'll be lucky to pick up 7rwhp. Not trying to be a dick, but they look pretty.....that's it

IMO shorties are not even worth the time to put on the GENIII motor.I would just wait and get some longtubes. That is me though

ok so what is your point? On a stock truck longtubes will net 20/20 rwhp/rwtq. I have dyno sheets to prove it(courtesy of stone150)

We're sitting here telling you you're wasting your time. Sell them on ebay for $100 each and buy some better headers.

hold on a sec. i was notified of this earlier today; longtubes are not street legal. i, like 454navyss, have a daily driver, not a race truck.

i would also like to know the answer to 454's question that has not been answered yet.

guys with daily drivers are pretty much stuck with either stock manifolds, or shorty headers, am i right?

if your emissions testing place doesnt require you to keep the cats in stock location, you can run LTs and have a catted ypipe instead of a off-road y-pipe (no cats) and still be legal.

I have a set of Gibson shorties, and to be honest with you, I really didn't notice anything. I'm actually saving money for some LT's, i heard a lot of good things about them.
