I am running pacesetters with cats but im about to give them the boot. I like the fact that im legal but i can feel it holding back up top. I already have it tuned for the cat delete so i just need to get rid of em.
Your pacesetters will run just fine with cats so worry not. You will still see power gains with them. You will see even more with a tune.

I am a tightwad so i just went ahead and cut my exhaust totally off, installed the headers, then threw the exhaust system in the back of my truck and took a very loud drive to the exhaust shop. All in all i think i dropped 120 after tax to have them do all that crap for me. I thought it was well worth it, rather than a hack job.
Ill do my best to get some pics up asap.

I have Pacesetter LT with my VHO Sierra which has true dual setup. I kept the stock converters on but had to relocate them with 2.5" pipe all the way and twin 18" Magnaflows dumped. SOunds pretty good. On the highway you can't hear a thing.
