Default Pacesetters or nitrous?

After running the numbers, Jet Hot coated Pacesetters and ORY delivered cost roughly the same as the Harris Speed Works wet EFI plate kit plus the necessary accessories. Link to the kit: http://www.harrisspeedworks.com/shop...=16948&cat=398

So I am torn about which to go with. I am planning on doing a cam (prob high lift 212/218) either way. What would you do (it's for the daily driven Tahoe in my sig)?

Pacesetters IMO, because i'd rather have the all the time power vs the OH **** i ran out og go fast juice.
Maybe if it was a toy i'd go spray first. But as a daily i'd rather have fun ALL the time not just until my bottle was empty. JMO.

headers will add 15-20 rwhp. 100 wet shot will add 100rwhp and probably 125-150rwtq on a 6.0. The Wet plate kit with their all out accessory kit is about $900, so $400 more than pacesetter.

Plus Jet hot coating, shipped there and back ($325), new GM gaskets ($14), and locking bolts ($40)... comes out about even.

I'd much rather have SS headers than coated ones. Spending $700 on coated PS's puts you right in the range of stainless dynas

I only paid 550 for my coated pacesetters and ORY. I think I'd do the headers and nitrous!

Considering you live in Texas I'd have no problem with coated PS's. But if you live anywhere where they put down salt, I've read that they will end up rusting that very first winter.

I had a bad experience with "factory coated" JBA shorties on my Bronco and they rusted through and leaked after a few years. And it's the factory coated ones that rust b/c of the road salt, I haven't read any cases of Jet Hot ones rusting. If I end up getting LTs, I am definitely sending them to Jet Hot, it will keep underhood temps down and make them last much longer.

Both but do the headers first.. Where or who you getting the pacesetters with JET HOT on them, they don't sell them anymore, unless your going to have a set done??
