I just got off the phone with John at Texas Speed he said it would be another week and a half. I ordered mine 2-17. He said pacesetter did not want to send the truck headers separate from the F-body headers

just got off the phone with John at TSP

he said that Pacesetter is giving them the runaround
on going ahead and shipping our headers out

that they do not want to ship 2 seperate orders
they would rather ship the F-body and truck
headers as one shipment so it would be cheaper
for pacesetter

when I asked about having them drop shipped
"since weve done paid for shipping"
he said pacesetter does not like doing it that way
but he was working on it

He said he sent them messages and was waiting for a reply
about having them dropshipped

---------------------------------------------------------------

602-266-1964
^called Pacesetter^
they said they have no problem dropshipping them
and that it doesnt matter how they get shipped

he told me TSP was feeding me a line of ****
that they just wanted to make the extra money
by having them shipped in bulk

then the next thing he said was that the headers
were just getting coated this week and would ship out
to TSP by Friday

so someone is full of ****

either TSP is lying to us
or Pacesetter is lying to them

who the hell knows

but John seemed like a more sensible guy than this fruit loop
at pacesetter

That is interesting

I may just cancel my order
which TSP said they would understand if I did

either way from my standpoint this looks bad on both
companies and I will never have any future dealings
with either. Unless they can demonstrate some kinda
corrective action.

Wow, I'm very surprised to see that PaceSetter is telling customers that we're full of crap. If it was up to us, we would have twenty+ sets of the headers on the shelf and ready to ship at all times. PaceSetter had 10 sets of headers to ship from the original batch, and that was it. We have headers ship here instead of drop-shipping because that is what we are pushed to do. We could drop-ship a set like most of the other PaceSetter dealers, but we're one of the very few that will order $15,000+ of headers at a time. We have been chewed out by PaceSetter before for too many drop-ships, and we've also had orders screwed up because of the drop-ships. It is best for the headers to come to us first so we know for sure that the order is completed 100%. Very very few sets of headers are kept on the shelf and ready to ship. They will only keep a handful (i.e. 3-4 sets at most) on the shelf ready to ship. Anything over that quantity is built when we order them. We are trying to get as many sets as possible. Trust me when I say that nobody, including us, was expecting it to take this long. I simply cannot ship something I do not have. We have a TON of pending orders waiting on these headers, but we cannot move any quicker than PaceSetter. They are the manufacturer, and we have to wait until they're ready before we ship them. Nobody is charged until the parts are ready to ship, and it's certainly frustrating to have many pending orders for parts. However, we cannot charge for or ship something that we do not have. If we had a way to speed things up we would. This is why we place orders for no less than $15,000 of headers at a time. At least then we will receive a decent quantity to take care of the majority, if not all, customers.

Feel free to give us a call if you have any questions or concerns. We are not in the business of lying and never will be. We will ship the headers the same day that they arrive here.

gamedawgx53,

Sorry it took me so long to reply guys, we're really busy this time of year & I didn't notice we were discussing Pacesetters in the truck section. We have additional sets of headers on order even past this shippment & Pacesetter is working hard to get these truck headers built. Keep in mind guys this is their first run of these headers, it takes time to get a surplus of headers ready to ship....
