Default Pacesetters or these LT's for my LQ4?

Anybody use these? OBX Exhaust Header GMC 99-06 1500 Tahoe Yukon 4.8L 5.3L | eBay

They look like a stainless copy of the Pacesetters. Price looks good. 2000 LQ4 in a 2500 4x4. Right side manifold cracked yesterday. Good time to upgrade to LT's I figure.
So, Pacesetters or these OBX units? I know I'll need to get some custom work done to hook either ones up to my exhaust.

A lot of guys are using the obx headers, as an alternative to pacesetters. There a sticky in the exhaust thread with install pics and reviews on them.

Sorry I don't see that sticky. I have been following the huge thread about Ebay/OBX style headers, but that thread is about ones that seem to be a different style than the ones in the link that I posted.

That thread is about the ones with the flange style collector etc, whereas these ones in my link look like a carbon copy of the Pacesetters with the slip-fit 3" collector.

I was just trying to see if anyone on here has any comments about the quality/fit of these specific units.

If there is a thread about these, I'm sorry I missed it. Can you post a link to it?

They look fine, but so do the OBX's. The LPP's are another $200. I guess the whole point of this thread to see if the extra $200 is necessary.

Seems pretty nice to me. I only hated the OBXs because of the hump they used to have in them. If the pictures are correct, they did away with it....

The LPPs you are talking about for 500 have a y-pipe, these don't. The older OBXs with the hump had a y-pipe you could get.

Well, I'll know soon enough I guess. I just ordered the OBX's in the link in my first post. I'll update this thread when more info becomes available. I won't likely get them installed for at least a couple of weeks.

They do not have the hump & are just as pictured. I have a set that'll probably go on this week on my Denali in my sig.
