They are different ports alltogether. kind of a bummer...The LQ9 truck heads share the same ports as the LS6 head design. That is why Terry sells the LQ9 truck heads as his LS6 'style' heads. I am beginning to wonder if the smallest valve you could place in the LS6 style head is a 2.00int and 1.57exh What are the stock valve sizes of an LQ9 head?

I guess so since the smallest valve you could get on there with the LS6 style heads is a 2.00 intake valve. Check out the stage2 5.3L heads though. They flow really well, and I bet you could get them in smaller valve sizes if you talked with Terry (or emailed him).
