Default Pcm controlled fans

What do I need to painless controller to having the pcm operate them? I know it's pin #42 in the pcm and it needs to be turned on by ls1 edit but do I need a special connector? Just one wire goes to the computer?

Check http://www.nelsonperformance.com/gmparts.htm

"Our fan harness is direct replacement for the Flex-a-Lite VSC. It's also available for truck owners who use the LS1/LT1 style Camaro fans. The fans are controlled by a set of relays that are triggered by the PCM and a/c signal. The harnesses are made from high- quality TXL rated wire. Every terminal is crimped and soldered to avoid corrosion and contact problems. Each one is covered in wire loom and comes with all parts/connectors. No need to run to the auto store for a part.
For the Flex-a-lite owners, the power wires come with a heat-shrink terminal so you will be able to attach to your existing fan wires.
For LS1 sytle fans, OEM weather-pack terminals are included. This makes it an easy plug-n-play design. A manual switch and LED's are available as options. "
