Default PCM question

I installed a 02 Z06 vette engine in my 02 GMC sierra, I was wondering if I could use the Vette's PCM on the truck.

I don't think so. Something to keep in mind is that if the SVC numbers on the PCM are the same(which most GM PCM's now do) the only difference is the programming.

although the ECM's all seem to share similarities, i don't think i would do that. the computers all talk to each other and there may be a difference in communication protocol? or, you could plug it in and hope nothing fries. look at it from this perspective, carputing has different kits for cars and trucks. i could be wrong. anyone? this is a viable question for future swaps/replacements.
