no what you are talking about i believe is for the trans ans i think it has to do with shifting or something. there is no oil in there.

you said you pulled the pcv off was it on the driver side? cause i realy could not tell either till i put the catch can. i wonder if you could take a bypass valve like on the charget and hook it up to the pcv and conect it in to the one with the wipple and then that would close off the pcv.

That plastic line goes to the fuel area (I thought it was a vapor line or something).

That is the EVAP selenoid, it is used to purge the fuel fumes from the tank I believe. I'm not 100% sure what it does, but I know that's what it is. There wouldn't be any oil coming from that. On mine, it is basically hooked straight up to right behind the throttle body (under vaccum).

haha... flyer nailed the part on that one,, i went to the dealer today and confirmed that part. i bought a new pcv valve, and new intake gaskets. i dont see how oil could leak by the intake runners, as far as i can tell, there shouldnt be any oil around the runners? but im gonna replace the gasket anyways. also, i borrowed another compression tester that screws into the sparkplug hole, and i tested 3 different cylinders, and they all got the same readings around 80 psi , just like my tester.

I dunno if this will help or not ... but if anything is dirty, you can run half a tank of gas and some Sea Foam, it comes in a white metal can. That **** works!

That's 2 or 3 tanks after the half tank with Sea Foam.

I could have hooked you up on some intake gaskets. I have one with 11k miles sitting out in the shop.

I dunno if 80 psi is right. I would check mine for ya .. but I don't have anything to check them with.
