I need to know the diameter of the stock pulley. The 105A alternator is ~2-3/8" measured on the outside. I am trying to see that if the alt cases are the same but the pulley is different inorder not to shell out another $35 for a belt.

the housing is bigger with the 130 amp alternater. at least it is on mine.i had to get a belt from an avalanch with the 6.0

 

02, do you have the part number for that alt.?

I just got my 200 amp in and its teh same size as the 130? I guess they just rebuild the internals. And my pulley on the 130 is the same as a 105. You souldnt need a new belt.

 

You can swap out the pulleys if they are different with a 15/16 wrench.
