I have an 08' c.c. sierra that im looking to do a cam swap in and was looking for some suggestions and possibly some sound clips of the perfect cam for these trucks. It is the LY5 motor and does have the dod/afm which im all for deleting that. The truck is not my daily driver so want it to be somewhat nasty sounding!! Input would be greatly appreciated!!

 

Perfect would depend on your definition....how do you want the truck to drive? Willing to get an aftermarket torque converter?

 

willing to get long tube headers as well?

Ok sorry I said the word perfect!! Yes I'm going to change the torque converter. The truck already has CAI, dyno tune, pace setter lts with the catless y-pipe, servo in tranny.
