i loved my old exhaust.
pacesetter L/T offroad Y pipe into 3" magnaflow 14" into a turn down.
no cam/no stall/no gears and it was almost like a nascar i loved it, my whole neighborhood could hear me coming home.

get a blackbear tune, he's the best i've dealt with. (i dont know if he is a sponsor on here, he is on gmfullsize.com) sorry if i wasn't suppose to put that.

Got the traditional mail order until he gets dataloging back. That is a black bear tune. I was extremely disapointed in w4m, the first delay was my fault. They could have remied it better, but then they screwed up by saying my vin number was still wrong. They currently have my money, I emailed them trying not to make a big situation about it. They are apparently dodging my email. I will call tomorrow I guess if I get no email back.

How much of a difference does datalogging make?

data logging lets the tuner make fine adjustments to get the tune close to perfect as possible.
And lets them see what that particular engine likes, since all of them are different.

i have 99 5.3 silverado with dynomax race bullet good muffler clean and loud sound its the way to go. if ur looking for the most power and back pressure from ur system then u will want to go with single instead of duels. duels are for looks to much flow not enough back pressure for this motor.

Awesome first post. Back pressure is a myth. You want velocity. As the gases escape from the combustion chamber, you want them to be able to move down the exhaust pipe, not back into the combustion chamber. I have LTs and Duel 3" pipes and I have plenty of power.

Heres a bit of reading for you.

This is correct. I'm running true 2.5" with an x-pipe to help with exhaust savaging.
